Hoomau - Be Consistent

I’ve had a word on my mind - so let’s talk about CONSISTENCY.

When learning Hawaiian, there are great resources out there and no matter which ones you use CONSISTENCY is the key to your success! If you only use a resource for a day or week and then stop – this is going to take a lot longer than it has to! Figure out what works for you and KEEP GOING. When you hit a plateau or rut – stick it out! Have patience with yourself and the process. (Patience! Patience! Patience!) Consistency is the name of the game! So set a goal right now to be consistent with your study of the Hawaiian language! You’ve got this!

In light of this first newsletter, hereʻs a word to keep in mind this week: HOOMAU - to be constant; keep going; continue on; persevere. Me ka hoomau no kakou e hiki ai i ka pahu hope. “It is with consistency that we reach our end goal.”
